agriRxiv is hosted and managed by CABI (cabi.org). By sharing preprints on agriRxiv, authors are able to make their findings immediately available to their scientific colleagues.
Articles are not peer-reviewed, edited, or typeset before being posted online. We moderate and then index all content to ensure it is appropriate for our users, and that it can be easily found and shared. Neither CABI nor agriRxiv confirms or endorses the approach or conclusions of any article posted on the service. Articles cannot be submitted if they have already been accepted by a journal.
A preprint is a scientific research paper shared publicly prior to peer review. agriRxiv assigns a digital object identifier (DOI) to each manuscript allowing the paper to be cited as soon as it is live.
- No lengthy peer reviews mean faster dissemination of research,
- Our open access platform improves discoverability of scientific research,
- Authors can stake intellectual claim to specific ideas or methodologies included in their research,
- Promotes early feedback and discussion helping to build scientific networks and future collaborations,
- Early access to research helps to inform policies and practice,
- Helps build researchers profile with a permanent DOI link to your preprint on your CV.
