I have over 17 years of experience in several areas of agriculture and rural development. I’ve worked as a development professional for a financial institution (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) in India), where I managed projects in areas that included microfinance, rural market development, market linkage for smallholder farmers, value chain development and natural resource management. My special expertise and interests lie in fortifying and integrating smallholder farmers in value chains.

At CABI, as Regional Director, South Asia, I oversee the implementation of CABI’s projects in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
